Peace Through the Blood of His Cross

Today's reading: Colossians 1:12-20,

Jesus has authority over all power both on earth over kings and dictators; and in the heavenly places over powerful spirit entities; because He created them. Therefore, as Creator, He is able to complete all that is promised in His word. Furthermore when we are "IN HIM we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins". Ephesians 1:7 Here is how Paul describes this in Colossians:

"He has delivered us from the power of darkness
and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
in whom we have redemption through His blood,
the forgiveness of sins.

"He is the image of the invisible God
and the first born over all creation.

For by Him all things were created
that are in heaven and that are on the earth, visible and invisible,
whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers.
All things were created through Him and for Him.

For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,
and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him,
whether things on earth or things in heaven,
having made peace through the blood of His cross."
Colossians 1:13, 19, 20 NKJ

He literally purchased us back from evil powers, through His own blood, and provided forgiveness for our sins! Because He, the Creator came as a human being and submitted to death on the cross; through His sacrificed life He is able to reconcile everything to Himself. Before His sacrifice, because of our sin we were alienated from God and were under the ruler ship of the kingdom of darkness. But through His blood, He made peace between us and God. He reconciled us together again like before the fall.

Praise Him for He is worthy of our faith and trust,

He is worthy of our full love and devotion.
He is worthy of all that we are.
